The new cars

As usual, the new cars in S2 originate from very different car classes to satisfy every racer’s needs. In the final version of S2, there will be more cars available for you to drive. We haven’t had the enjoyment to test the new cars, because we could only test the pre-alpha version which hadn’t had the new cars. Rumours say that there will be a stronger formula car (like F3000 class), a racing version of the XR GT and the FXO TURBO and a yet unknown car which, however, resembles to a Lotus Elise clone, according to the data. Rally cross fans will be put off to the rally pack which is to appear after the release of S2. Perhaps, racers can enjoy a RB4 GTR as well with the rally pack.

The MRT6 reminds you of its predecessor MRT5 in every way. It was built for Autocross races, but on other race tracks, the car from McGills performs fairly well.

The FZ-50, the car which forum readers classify somewhere between a Porsche and a Ferrari is a fine sports car. It is still unclear if there will be a racing version of this ride.

Has the LX6 not already been very difficult to ride? Those of you who can answer this question with a "no”, will have much fun with the LX8. It has more power and and better grip due to slicks.

It’s done. The first formula car in LFS. This ride has an unbelievable grip due to slicks and a high contact pressure. With this ride, amazing curve speeds are possible.

This is already a favourite of some XF GTi veterans. A thoroughbred racing version of the good old GTi and this car lives up to its name. Yes, it drives as it looks.

The UF1000 is the new and slowest car in LFS. As a hardtop or as a convertible, you can have very close races with this ride, assumed that the track doesn’t have too many long straights.
