Demo zur Militärsimulation ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead

This 3GB demo thrusts you straight into the unique gameplay featured in the full version of Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead; it showcases the realistic sandbox environment, offers multiplayer gameplay, and gives you a peek at the vast array of vehicles, weapons, units at your disposal. The demo offers a massive amount of highly detailed content, giving you a sharp flavour of the epic new environment (modelled on real-world data), a full taste of the mission editor, and a real appetite to experience the most authentic mil-sim available: war without the training wheels.

Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead's demo includes:

  • Singleplayer mission "Coltan Blues" from the main campaign
  • Singleplayer scenarios "Benchmark" and "Little Bird"
  • 3 Boot Camp scenarios (Basic, Driving and Helicopter tutorials)
  • Multiplayer missions "Hike In The Hills" and "One Shot One Kill"
  • multiplayer template "Team Deathmatch"
  • Mission Editor with save/load option

Multiplayer: It's possible to play a multiplayer battle or customize some of the available mission templates. To start the template-based multiplayer, select <<New - Wizard>> and select the available Team Death Match template. Note that the template is customizable, and you may prepare many variations of existing setups.

Hab bis vor kurzem auch nur CoD und sowas gezockt aber dann mal Operation Flashpoint DRagon Rising ausprobiert. Am Anfang wars ziemlich öde aber nach ner Zeit gings wenn man sich reingefuchst hat. Ich fürchte Arma ist nochmehr Simulation ...naja ich schaus mir mal an :)
Schätze mal das kann man auch ohne das "Vollspiel" spielen weil is ja eig ein Add-on???

Bitte vergleiche OFP2:DR nicht mit ArmA! Bitte!
OFP ist eine ganz andere Klasse zu ArmA.
Codemasters hat einfach nur den Namen genommen weil sie die Puplisher vom ersten Operation Flashpoint waren!
Und das was sie da "Entwickelt" haben ist "sry" der größte Müll.
Dieses Spiel zieht den Namen der Operation Flashpoint/ ArmA Reihe in den Dreck.
Armed Assault und ArmA2/OA sind die wirklichen Nachfolger von OFP.
Und ArmA OA ist wohl das geilste von allen.
Ladet euch ruhig die demo. Aber kauf es euch lieber, den die Community von OFP/ArmA is die beste die es gibt. Jeden Tag neue Maps, Mission und Mods und das seit etwa 1999 (weiß das genaue Datum nicht) bis Heute!!
Und ArmA lebt von Mods, diese kann man in der Demo nicht benutzen somit kommt man nicht in den Geschmack eines z.B. erstklassiken Soundmods und fühlt sich nicht mitten im Krieg, wenn neber einem die Bomben und Granaten einschlagen und dabei der ganze Tisch vibriert!!
Es ist Simulation, kein Action Game. Man braucht gedult, hier ist nichts mit "Ein-Mann-Armee". Man muss im Teamarbeiten.
Ich spiele es seit OFP 1 und muss sagen, es hört nie auf Spaß zumachen, ich spiele auch viele Action spiele! Man muss einfach etwas reinkommen dann kommt man locker klar.

hab Arma 2 angetestet, zwar net OA aber meine Meinung ist positiv, zwar ist es extrem schwer, aber sieht nach einem tollen coop Spiel für ne Lan aus ;)

Die Bundeswehreinheiten in dem Spiel sind eh nicht da wahre ;) Da ist die BWMod um einiges besser.

Leider ist in der Demo die Bundeswehr nicht auswählbar, schade!
