In der spielbaren Demo zu FIFA Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft 2006 könnt ihr ein Match bestreiten. Vier National-Mannschaften stehen zur Auswahl: England, Deutschland, Mexiko und USA.

1. Minimum System Requirements
1.3 GHz Intel Pentium III or equivalent (Athlon/Duron/Celeron)
256 Megabytes of RAM (512 MB recommended)
DirectX 9.0c Compatible 3D accelerated 32 MB video card or equivalent (see supported chipsets in section 8)
420.39 MB free hard disk space
DirectX 9.0c Compatible Sound Card
MS compatible mouse
Keyboard
Please note that 16 bit color is not supported

Required Operating Systems:
Windows XP or Windows 2000
Note that Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows NT 4.0 are not supported.

Required Software:
DirectX 9.0c

2. Installing the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ Demo
Double-click the AutoRun.exe file to begin the installation process. Follow the on screen dialog for installing the demo.

The “Typical User” install (default setting) will install the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ demo to C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\2006 FIFA World Cup Demo (where “C:\” is the drive your current operating system is located.

The “Advanced User” install will allow you to install the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ demo to a custom directory

3. DirectX 9.0c
If you try to run the game without DirectX 9.0c installed, you will be prompted to upgrade before the game installation begins.

Note: If you already have DirectX 9.0c (or higher) installed, it is not necessary to reinstall it.

DirectX and supported hardware
We recommend that 2006 FIFA World Cup™ DEMO be run with DirectX 9.0c compatible sound cards and video cards.

We also suggest you update your sound card and video card driver to the newest release from the vendor or chipset website.

4. Uninstalling 2006 FIFA World Cup™ Demo
The simplest method of uninstalling the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ Demo is to use "Uninstall 2006 FIFA World Cup Demo" shortcut in the Start Menu (usually "Start Menu/All Programs/EA Sports/2006 FIFA World Cup Demo/Uninstall 2006 FIFA World Cup Demo").

Windows also has an "Add/Remove Programs" Icon in the Control Panel that you can use to uninstall the game.

5. Memory Requirements
a.) Memory requirements in Windows
2006 FIFA World Cup™ Demo requires a minimum of 256 MB of RAM to run the game (512 MB is recommended).

Note: The more system memory available, the better the game will perform in all areas.

b.) Running the game under stressful Windows conditions
At Electronic Arts we strive to bring you the best in graphics, audio and gameplay. We are always pushing the envelope of computer performance. While we have made every effort to ensure that 2006 FIFA World Cup™ Demo multi-tasks with all Windows applications, we recommend that you shut down other applications (including virus scanners) and run 2006 FIFA World Cup™ Demo by itself when possible.

c.) Virtual memory
We recommend that you let your operating system automatically manage the amount of virtual memory.

dann wird die grafik in der vollversion wohl auch auf ein minimum fest eingestellt sein ...da sie ja auch auf jeden rechner laufen soll *lol
logisch ist ...das jeder sich die grafik so einstellt wie er es für richtig hält ...und was sein system zu lässt
...und das ist das mindeste was in einer demo einstellbar sein sollte ....und natürlich auch das eingabegerät :wink:
...und schon ist die demo bei mir wieder runter

Zur Grafik sage ich nichts, ist ja nur auf Minimum. Aber das sieht alles sowas von unecht aus, wie die den Ball bewegen und wie der am Fuß klebt. Einfach nur schlecht...

Zur Demo selbst: Schick aufgemacht, die Präsentation ist wie man es von EA gewohnt ist, super. Die Spielbarkeit selbst unterscheidet sich aber nicht von Fifa 2006. Weiterhin fallen die Tore mit Flanken oder dem "Pass in die Tiefe". Wer Fifa 2006 nicht hat, kann sich das Teil sicherlich kaufen, alle anderen würden 40Euro nur wegen der Präsentation ausgeben. Das muss nicht sein. Aber auch das ist ja typisch EA, wer hat da schon anderes erwartet. :wink:

Die Grafik ist, wie inner Tomb Raider legend demo, auf ein minmum gestellt. Bei Bei Legend konnte man ja imemrhin noch die auflösung und paar Effekte hochschalten, nur net die next gen effekte nicht, aber hier ist alles nidrig. Keine shader, Auflösung 800 * 600 unveränderbar, genauso wie die Steuerung. Die darf man auch nicht selbst auswählen. Wieso machen die das?
Ich dachte Demos siond dzu da, zu gucken wie das SPiel aussieht obs läuft und auch ob einem da Spiel an sich gefällt. Aber so wird doch jeder mensch sagen: Da bleib ich doch bei meinem fifa 06. Das sieht besser aus...
