Wie 505 Games und Re-Logic mitteilen, können Android- und iOS-Nutzer jetzt einen Patch für Terraria (ab 14,99€ bei kaufen) beziehen - dieser macht auch die Mobile-Fassung des Spiels tauglich für Mehrpieler-Partien, zumindest im WLAN.

"Adventure together or duel each other in player-vs-player combat, with Wi-Fi multiplayer supporting up to four players. This update also includes various bug fixes along with the ability to directly drop items into the world from your inventory bar."

Auch die 360- und PS3-Fassungen wurden mit einem Update versorgt. Neben einigen Verbesserungen der Performance gibt es schon ein paar Inhalte aus dem 1.2er Update, das man der PC-Version vor einigen Wochen spendiert hatte. Der volle 1.2er Patch soll Anfang 2014 folgen.

Laut Angaben der Entwickler wird Terraria bald auch Windows Phone 8 unsicher machen. Das Spiel habe sich insgesamt über drei Mio. Mal bis heute verkauft.

Slightly improved graphics (no lossy compression for tiles)

Leaderboards UI now more consistent with other UIs (shiny yellow highlight instead of white)

Fixed some minor localization issues in leaderboards for the Spanish language

Fixed certain death messages not being displayed correctly



PLATFORM SPECIFIC:





Xbox 360:

Big performance improvements (especially noticeable during new world generation, split screen multi-player and mini map creation)

Improved (smoother) lighting in split screen mode

Improved friend game search

In split screen a player can now leave a session in the pause menu (instead of having to sign out)

When a player signs in to a split screen multi-player session, he/she can no longer sign in with a profile that was already signed in

Join through presence is now only allowed for friends


PlayStation 3:


General performance improvements

Sound effect improvements (pitching/panning)

King Statue now also affects Santa

Improved message box

Although we hope everyone will have fun discovering what 1.2 teaser material has been added to the console versions, here is a partial overview:

Incorporated 1.2 updated biome background graphics, new sun and moon graphics

Incorporated new low-tier armor sets and their recipes

Certain item stack sizes have been increased from 250 to 999

Added animations for water, water sparkles, life crystals, shadow orbs, furnace and hell forge

Added random sizes for Zombies and Demon Eyes

Added new enemy sprites: Pincushion Zombie, Slimed Zombie, Female Zombie, Twiggy Zombie, Swamp Zombie, Shroom Zombie

Auch irgendwas neues über ein Vita - Release? Das sollte doch schon im September für Sonys Handheld rauskommen.
