Fable Anniversary (ab 9,99€ bei kaufen), so wird das Remake von Fable für Xbox 360 heißen, das Ende des Jahres veröffentlicht werden soll. Das von den Lionhead Studios entwickelte Spiel soll bessere Grafik in 1080p (neues Lichtsystem, hochaufgelöste Texturen, bessere Animationen in den Zwischensequenzen etc.), kaum merkbare Ladezeiten, ein neues Benutzerinterface (u.a. Speichersystem), Achievements, SmartGlass-Support und noch mehr bieten. Auch wenn die Spielmechanik an manchen Stellen "modernisiert" werden soll, wollen die Entwickler das Spielgefühl des Klassikers beibehalten. Fable Anniversary enthält außerdem die Inhalte von Fable: The Lost Chapters.

"We're really excited to bring Fable to Xbox 360", sagte Ted Timmins, Lead Designer von Fable Anniversary. "It's the game that the Fable community has been asking for, so we wanted to make sure Fable Anniversary delivered the definitive Fable experience for both long-time fans and newcomers to the franchise. (...) It's probably the hardest part of the job. We needed to keep Fable the same, but also make it different (...) It was a case of playing through the game over and over and writing down a list of the things we wanted to address in order to bring Fable to a 360 quality level that people expect."
