Auf der US-Webseite von Nintendo wird ein neues Update für die System-Software erläutert, welches in Europa wohl schon vom Stapel gelaufen ist, aber (noch) nicht auf den hiesigen Webseiten erwähnt wird.

Dank der neuen Firmware können 3DS-Besitzer nun die Speicherstände ihrer Download-Spiele sowie der meisten Virtual-Console-Titel sichern. Die StreetPass Mii Plaza wurde zudem im kostenpflichtige Elemente erweitert: StreetPass Squad, StreetPass Battle, StreetPass Garden und StreetPass Mansion schlagen separat jeweils mit 5 Euro, als Paket mit 15 Euro zu Buche.

Save Data Backup Feature:

• Users can now back up save data for downloadable versions of Nintendo 3DS software and most Virtual Console games

Improved system stability and usability:
