Am 17. September wird Grand Theft Auto V in den Handel kommen und dann gleich in drei Fassungen verfügbar sein, wie Rockstar heute mitteilt. Neben der Standardausgabe wird es noch eine Special Edition sowie eine Collector's Edition geben.

Die Special Edition kommt im Steelbook-Format daher, umfasst  etwas Artwork, eine Karte sowie zusätzliche In-Game-Inhalte. Die Collector's Edition umfasst all dies und bietet zusätzlich noch, eine Mütze, eine Tasche, die wie ein Beutel für Geldtransporte gestaltet und mit dem Logo des Spiels versehen ist. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch spezielle Charaktere für den wohl "Grant Theft Auto Online" getauften Multiplayer-Part und zusätzliche Fahrzeuge und Garagen. Die US-Preise: 79,99 bzw. 149,99 Dollar.

Wer das Spiel - egal ob Standard- oder Sonderausgabe - vorbestellt, darf außerdem in GTA V mit dem Atomic Blimp (Zeppelin) durch die Gegend fliegen.
