Im Kickstarter-Trailer zu Planetary Annihilation war die Einheiten-Kanone (Unit Cannon) bereits zu sehen und mittlerweile kann man sie in "Release Build 76456" auch einsetzen. Mit der Kanone können Truppen direkt an die Front "geschossen" werden. Darüber hinaus haben die Entwickler einen "Einsteiger-Leitfaden" (Hauptmenü) hinzugefügt und die Balance der Einheiten verbessert.
