Year Walk: Adventure vom Beat Sneak Bandit-Team
Dass man kein One-Hit-Wonder ist, hatte Simogo bereits bewiesen: Nach dem erfolgreichen Bumpy Road legte das Studio mit dem knalligen Beat Sneak Bandit nach.
Für das nächste Projekt begeben sich die Schweden wieder in neue Gefilde: Year Walk wird als First-Person-2D-Adventure beschrieben. Darin verschlägt es den Spieler in die dunklen und kalten Wälder im Schweden des 19. Jahrhunderts. Dort werde man auf allerlei Kreaturen und Phänomene treffen, die der schwedischen Folklore entstammen sollen.
Year Walk sei ein Traumprojekt, mit dem man andere Emotionen erkunden will als zuvor. Es sei eine Mischung aus interaktiver Kunst, intuitiver Touch-Steuerung, Bilderbuch, Adventure, einer Prise Horror und Mystery, ein paar okkulten und übernatürlichen Phänomenen und eben viel Folklore. Das Projekt entstehe in Zusammenarbeit mit ein paar Leuten, die man erst zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt vorstellen will - Year Walk sei mehr als nur ein Spiel, so eine Andeutung auf etwaige mögliche Begleitprojekte.
