Auf der E3 2013 wird nicht nur der zweite Teil von Plants vs. Zombies vorgestellt, sondern wohl ebenfalls ein Spin-Off mit dem Titel Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. Auf dem Messegelände sind entsprechende Werbematerialen auf Fotos aufgetaucht und kurzzeitig war bei PopCap Games eine Produkt-Website zu dem Spiel erreichbar (Google Cache). Demnach dürfte "Garden Warfare" ein kooperatives Multiplayer-Actionspiel sein und soll für PC sowie Konsolen erscheinen. Spätestens bei der Pressekonferenz von Electronic Arts am Montag (ab 22 Uhr) dürften weitere Details folgen.
