Weiter heißt es: "Für die Endrunde des gamescom awards 2016 haben sich über 40 Neuheiten qualifiziert. In insgesamt 24 Kategorien werden in diesem Jahr Gewinner prämiert. Aussteller und Besucher der gamescom (17. bis 21. August 2016) dürfen nun gespannt sein, wer bei der feierlichen Preisverleihung am Freitag, 19. August, 18:00 Uhr, auf der social media stage (Halle 10.1) eine der begehrten Trophäen mit nach Hause nehmen darf. Den 'best of gamescom award' kann nur ein Spiel gewinnen, das auch eine Kategorie gewonnen hat. Vergeben wird auch der gamescom 'Most Wanted' Consumer award. Ab sofort und noch bis Freitag, 19. August 2016, 15:00 Uhr können Fans und Besucher der gamescom über die offizielle gamescom-App für ihren Favoriten stimmen."
