Elite Dangerous: Betatest und Details zu den Updates 1.6 und 2.1 "The Engineers" (Horizons)
Frontier Developments hat den Betatest des Updates 1.6 für Elite Dangerous (ab 5,99€ bei kaufen) und des Updates 2.1 "The Engineers" für Elite Dangerous Horizons gestartet. Das anstehende Update dreht sich hauptsächlich um Crafting (Herstellung), Loot (Beute) und zahlreiche Veränderungen bei den Missionen. "Mit den neuen Anpassungen und Crafting-Möglichkeiten lässt sich z.B. bald jedes Schiff in Elite Dangerous individualisieren", heißt es von Frontier. Ansonsten wollen die Entwickler viele Bugfixes und allerlei Verbesserungen an dem Weltraum-Abenteuer vorgenommen haben. Die Liste mit Anpassungen ist jedenfalls sehr umfangreich (Change-Log).

Shipping lanes are created between the primary star, stations, and planets with settlements. Shipping lanes that are too similar to others, or too short, are removed
Traffic density is calculated based on shipping lane, station and settled planet proximity. This traffic density value alters the probability of USSs
If you scan a body that has a mission POI on it, the POI will be revealed. The scan can come from the discovery scanner, or from scanning a nav beacon
Changed data scans to be unique per location, so they cannot be continuously rescanned
Unlinked minor faction reputation from their parent major faction reputation, now you will be neutral with an Empire minor faction even if you are allied with the Empire major faction
Added the ability to scan a nav beacon to get the system exploration data for that system
Added a 'cordial' minor faction reputation level
Allow cargo to be transferred to a newly bought ship, if it has adequate cargo space

WItzig, meine Frau ist, was Videospiele betrifft, enorm liberal, sie daddelt sogar selbst ganz gerne, wenn sie die Zeit dazu findet - aber bei diesem Ding schaut sie auch immer sehr skeptisch und ließ letztens sogar eine abfällige Bemerkung fallen, dass das Ding auch noch "Thrustmaster" heißt... Scheint wohl was latent unterbewusstes zu sein

Bin von der XBO Version zum PC umgestiegen und kam mit der Tastatur + Maussteuerung mal gar nicht zurecht, mittlerweile hab ich aber meinen Controller nahezu gleich belegt wie den Xbox One Controller, mit der Ausnahme dass ich einige Sachen über die Tastatur aufrufe die sonst am Controller verschachtelt waren (also Galaxy Map aufrufen und andere Dinge die für das steuern und kämpfen nicht wirklich relevant sind).
Kann dir nur einen HOTAS empfehlen, der von Thrustmaster für 40? oder was der kostet reicht da schon. Wesentlich besser als M+T geschweige denn ein Controller. Vor allem die Immersion/Atmosphäre rast mit so einem Teil extrem nach oben, wenn man da im All navigiert. Controller finde ich zum Fliegen immer so meh. Passt irgendwie gar nicht.
Ich hab ja dieses HOTAS System von Thrustmaster. Mein Problem ist, ich hab nen Wohnzimmer PC und mein Frau meckert immer wenn das Ding da rumsteht Hab zwar mittlerweile meinen XO Controller so einigermaßen konfiguriert, aber ich denke mit dem Original XBox Interface wäre es nochmal etwas komfortabler.
