Die Arbeiten an El Dorado, der nächsten Erweiterung von Europa Universalis 4 (ab 11,99€ bei kaufen) , sind abgeschlossen. Das gibt Entwickler Paradox Interactive bekannt und merkt dabei an, dass das "Abenteuer rund um Politik und die spanische Eroberung" im nächsten Monat in digitaler Form für PC, Mac und Linux ausgeliefert wird - ein konkretes Datum wird allerdings noch nicht genannt.

Zu den zentralen Features zählt u.a. ein "Nationen-Designer", mit dem man die Bedingungen zum Spielstart durch weitere Optionen noch besser festlegen kann. Auch die Piratenjagd, die Suche nach den sieben Städten aus Gold und weitere Religionen zählen zu den neuen Inhalten.
