Knapp zwei Jahre nach den Konsolenfassungen wird am 13. September 2013 die PC-Version von The King of Fighters 13 bei Steam erscheinen. Das für 27,99 Euro erhältliche Prügelspiel enthält außerdem die folgenden drei DLC-Charaktere: "Iori with the Power of Flames", "NESTS Style Kyo" und "Mr. Karate". Entwickler SNK Playmore will außerdem den Netzwerkcode drastisch verbessert haben. Zudem stehen 300 Plätze für einen geschlossenen Betatest zur Verfügung - mehr Details hierzu gibt es auf der Steam-Website.
