Schon seit einiger Zeit arbeitet Stompy Bot Productions an Heavy Gear Assault für PC. Bei dem Mech-Actionspiel auf Basis der Unreal Engine 4 mit dynamisch zerstörbarer Umgebung sollen u.a. Fernkampfduelle mit Nahkampfattacken kombiniert werden können. Obwohl das Spiel auf eSports und soziale Interaktion setzt, soll es ebenfalls Singleplayer-Episoden geben.

Finanziert werden soll das Projekt durch Crowdfunding via Kickstarter und der offiziellen Website . Während bei Kickstarter erst 30.378 Dollar von den angepeilten 800.000 Dollar zusammengekommen sind, sieht es auf der Website mit insgesamt 149.263 Dollar etwas rosiger aus. Die Kickstarter-Kampagne soll noch über einen Monat lang laufen.
