Nach dem riesigen Erfolg der Arma-2-Modifikation DayZ (ab 29,56€ bei kaufen) hatte Bohemia Interactive vor anderthalb Jahren eine Standalone-Version des Konzepts angekündigt. Diese hat jetzt nach diversen Verschiebungen endlich den Stand erreicht, an dem die Mannen um Dean Hall das Ganze auch auf die Öffentlichkeit loslassen wollen.

Für 23,99 Euro kann man DayZ auf Steam erwerben - dank Early Access erhält man so die aktuelle Alpha-Fassung. Das Studio verweist darauf, dass es sich um eine unfertige Version handelt, die Fehler enthalten kann. Es legt nahe den Survival-Titel nur zu erwerben, falls man im Sinne des Early-Access-Programms an der Entwicklung beteiligt sein wolle.
