Mighty No. 9 - Über 1,6 Mio. Dollar erreicht und Konsolen-Zusatzziel vorgezogen
Bei der Kickstarter-Kampagne zu Mighty No. 9 sind in der Zwischenzeit über 1,6 Mio. Dollar zusammengekommen, weswegen auch der New-Game-Plus-Modus und die Turbo-Variante als ausgeschriebene Zusatzziele erreicht wurden.
Darüber hinaus haben die Entwickler die weiteren "Stretch Goals" für den geistigen MegaMan-Nachfolger umgestellt. Basierend auf dem Feedback der Unterstützer wurden die Konsolenversionen vorgezogen und werden bei 2,2 Mio. Dollar realisiert (ursprünglich lag das Ziel bei 2,5 Mio.). Auch die Making-of-Dokumentation von 2 Player Productions soll früher und zwar bei 1,75 Mio. Dollar folgen (vorher 2 Mio. Dollar). Weitere Zusatzziele sind in Planung.

New Game Plus and Turbo Mode
If we pass this goal, we’ll design a New Game Plus mode that allows those who finish the game but are still thirsty for more to carry over certain powers or items from the first play-through for a more challenging “second quest” version of the game. We’ll also work in a Turbo Mode that lets you play through the game at a faster speed for extra challenge.

Get an in-depth look at the creation of Mighty No. 9—and an unprecedented peek into the typically ultra-secretive Japanese game development industry—with three 30-minute documentary episodes produced by the wizards at 2 Player Productions (the same team behind our pitch video and the amazing Double Fine Adventure documentary)!
PS3/X360/WIIU Console Versions
If we reach this goal, we can bring this game to the audience that made the genre what it is in the first place: console gamers! Specifically, we’ll make digital versions for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U platforms. (You’ll be given the option to choose any of these instead of the PC version.)
