Wer schon immer mal aus der First-Person-Sicht den Mount Everest bezwingen wollte, findet mit Everest VR den passenden Virtual-Reality-Titel dazu: Die exklusiv für das Headset HTC Vive auf Steam veröffentlichte App wurde von Sólfar in Zusammenarbeit mit den Animations-Studio RVX entwickelt und bietet eine "Reihe von First-Person-Herausforderungen", bei denen man das Dach der Welt erreichen soll. Als Mindestanforderung genügt der Mindest-Standard gewöhnlicher VR-Titel, also eine GeForce GTX 970 oder eine vergleichbare Grafikkarte. Empfohlen wird eine GTX 1060 (oder eine noch kraftvollere Karte). Gespielt wird im Stehen: Wer möchte, kann die vollen Roomscale-Möglichkeiten der Vive ausnutzen, das Interface kann aber auch auf eine kleine Fläche herunterskaliert werden.
