Formal so natürlich aus Gamer Sicht richtig, aber aus der Pen & Paper Sicht ist Dark Corners weit näher am Original als Bloodline. Dark Corners ist im Grunde fast eine 1:1 Umsetzung der Abenteuer Flucht und Sturm auf Innsmouth. Wie gesagt fast. Bloodlines fängt das WoD PnP Feeling weit weniger gut ein, ist aber klar das bessere Spiel. Darum ging es mir. :wink: Kann aber auch sein das hier die Tentakelige Fanbrille im Weg ist. Dark Corners ist vermutlich eines der qualitativ inkohärentesten Dinger der Spielegeschichte. Das letzte Drittel ist ein derartiger Griff ins Klo, dass es sogar die teilweise äußerst tollen Abschnitte davor (leider!) ein Stück weit entwertet, indem es die dort gemachten Verheißungen in Sachen Story, Atmosphäre, Gruselfaktor und Immersion nicht nur nicht einlöst, sondern einfach komplett über den Haufen wirft. So schade!
Insofern ist Dark Corners mit dem Meisterwerk Bloodlines sicherlich nicht auf Augenhöhe. Macht natürlich nichts, empfehlenswert ist es trotzdem, nur ist halt stark davon abzuraten, sich tatsächlich bis zum Ende durchzuquälen. Meine Empfehlung an Dark Corners-Spieler: Wenn ihr an einen Punkt kommt, an dem man sich zum Weiterspielen selbst überreden muss, sollte man das Spiel am Besten abbrechen. Man verpasst dann ohnehin nichts tolles mehr.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - The Official Video Game - Werwolf-Rollenspiel auf Basis von "World of Darkness" in Entwicklung
Focus Home Interactive hat eine Partnerschaft mit White Wolf Publishing (Vampire The Masquerade, Werewolf, Mage Ascension) geschlossen. Das Studio Cyanide (Styx: Master of Shadows, Blood Bowl) soll ein "offizielles" Videospiel zu Werewolf: The Apocalypse (World of Darkness) entwickeln. Das Rollenspiel, in dem man in die Rolle eines Werwolfs schlüpfen darf, soll für PC und Konsolen erscheinen. Weitere Details wurden nicht verraten. Cyanide arbeitet derzeit auch an Call of Cthulhu - The Official Video Game.
