Irrational Games und 2K Games haben Wort gehalten: Die kontrovers diskutierte und auf fünf Neu-Installationen beschränkte Online-Aktivierung von BioShock ist aufgehoben worden (wir berichteten). Fortan könnt ihr das Spiel endlos oft installieren. Dabei müsst ihr nicht einmal einen Patch runterladen, der veränderte Mechanismus greift sofort bzw. automatisch.

Aktiviert werden muss BioShock nach einer Installation trotzdem, da nur das Aktivierungslimit entfernt wurde und nicht der vollständige Kopierschutz.

Good news! As promised, all activation restrictions, including install limits, have been removed from BioShock PC as of today. You don't have to patch or install anything for this to go into effect for your copy of BioShock - it's already done!
