Transference: Elijah Wood enthüllt Psycho-Thiller mit Filmszenen für VR und klassische Systeme
Elijah Woods Filmfirma SpectreVision arbeitet nicht nur an einem mysteriösen VR-Thriller (der auch auf "klassischen" Bildschirmen spielbar ist), sondern hat diesen Titel mit dem Namen Transference (ab 4,75€ bei 
kaufen) auf Ubisofts E3-Konferenz auch nur sehr mysteriös angekündigt: Die Entwickler bzw. Regisseure wollten offenbar noch nicht zu viel von der Story verraten. Ihr Ziel ist es laut Trailer allerdings, den Spieler ordentlich zu verwirren und zu verunsichern - bis er sich schließlich unter seinem VR-Headset nicht mehr sicher fühlt. Im Frühjahr 2018 soll der Gruseltrip starten, und zwar auf HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, PC, PlayStation 4 sowie Xbox One.
Die Video-Beschreibung wird etwas konkreter: Der Spieler verliert sich demnach "in der destruktiven Geschichte der Obsession eines Mannes, während man seine digital wiederhergestellten Erinnerungen erforscht. Erleben Sie die Grenzen der Techno-Psychologie und entkommen Sie einem labyrinthartigem Puzzle, hinter dem sich eine korrumpierte Wahrheit versteckt.
