Bartlow's Dread Machine: Feuer frei für die historische Schießbude auf PC und Xbox One
Am 29. September 2020 haben BeepGames und Tribetoy ihren nostalgischen Twinstick-Shooter Bartlow's Dread Machine für PC und Xbox One veröffentlicht und den Early Access damit nach nur zwei Monaten offiziell beendet. Der Download via Steam kostet 12,49 Euro. Im Microsoft Store werden hingegen 14,99 Euro fällig. In der Spielbeschreibung heißt es: "In Bartlow's Dread Machine taucht ein Artefakt aus der Vergangenheit wieder auf: Ein lang vergessenes Spiel vom Beginn des elektronischen Zeitalters. Dread Machine ist ein Twin-Stick-Arcade-Shooter mit Einzelspieler- und Koop-Modus, sechs fantasievollen Spielwelten und einem krachenden Mix aus absurden Monstern und historischen Charakteren.
Man hat Teddy Roosevelt entführt! Ihre Mission: Nehmen Sie in New York die Verfolgung auf, über die wilde Prärie bis hin nach San Francisco und weiter auf hoher See! Springen Sie auf Züge auf, befehlen Sie Schiffe und probieren Sie sogar ein neumodisches Automobil aus! Bedienen Sie sich an einem ganzen Arsenal futuristischer Waffen wie zu Zeiten Edwards VII., um Kreaturen aus dem Jenseits zu bekämpfen und den Oberbefehlshaber zu befreien."
