Das einzige was mich schockt ist das es noch nicht bei release drinne war. Freut euch schon mal auf das nächste modern warfare, da wirds von anfang drinne sein. Für 60? kaufen und dann kann man sich gleich noch waffen aus dem ingame shop kaufen ausserdem xp boosts, special perks und das ende des 4 stündigen single player. :p

Call of Duty: Black Ops II: Mikrotransaktionen kommen
Dass gewisse Errungenschaften aus dem Free-to-play-Bereich auch immer mehr in die Gefilde traditioneller Retail-Spiele rüberschwappen, hatte schon das eine oder andere Beispiel gezeigt. Jetzt scheint auch die Call of Duty-Reihe jenseits vom für den asiatischen Markt konzipierten Call of Duty Online dran zu sein.
Auf seinem Blog erläutert Activisions Social-Media-Spezi Dan Amrich, dass die Xbox 360-Version von Call of Duty: Black Ops II am Mittwoch mit einem Patch versorgt wird. Neben einigen Verbesserungen und Anpassungen würde das Update auch "Micro-Items" mit sich bringen - "kleine, spezifische Möglichkeiten, sein Online-Erlebnis zu erweitern", die aber "keine Wirkung auf das Gameplay hätten." Neben Waffen-Skins werden sich die Nutzer dann z.B. auch zusätzliche Slots kaufen können - die seien schließlich von den Spielern gewünscht worden.
Amrich teilt noch mit, dass Nuketown 2025 kostenlos verfügbar sein wird und erläutert dann einige der Micro-Items, die ab dem Mittwoch in der 360-Fassung, zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt sicherlich auch auf PS3 und PC zu finden sein werden.
Personalization Packs
Like dress-up for your favorite weapons. Each themed pack contains a unique weapon camo, three targeting reticles (one each for the Reflex, EO Tech, and ACOG sights), and a custom player Calling Card. All that stuff comes as a set for 160 MS Points.
One notable example: the Bacon Personalization Pack (!) wraps your favorite weapon in the most delicious cured meat known to man. I like that Treyarch has a sense of humor.
Nuketown Zombies
If you didn’t get Nuketown Zombies as part of the Hardened or Care Package limited editions of the game, now you can get it as a standalone level for 400 MS Points.
Extra Slots Pack
This one’s for the players who requested even more loadouts and/or are fans of Theater Mode. You can now get 10 more Create-a-Class slots (giving you 20 total if you’ve gone all the way up to Prestige Master) and significantly expand your media storage, allowing you to archive 20 more emblems, 32 more films and 40 more screenshots for 160 MS Points.
Flags of the World Calling Card Packs
These packs include national flag-themed Calling Cards from countries around the world. Packs are divided by geographical region and costs 80 MS Points per region pack.
