Microsoft und Turn 10 haben die NASCAR-Erweiterung für Forza Motorsport 6 (ab 16,45€ bei kaufen) sowohl offiziell angekündigt als auch veröffentlicht (Preis: 19,99 Euro). Die Erweiterung dreht sich um Stock-Cars und beinhaltet 24 Rennwagen der 2016er-Saison, einen entsprechenden Karrieremodus (World Tour; ca. zehn Stunden Spielzeit laut Hersteller) und eine neue Rennstrecke ("Homestead-Miami Speedway"). Vom Hersteller heißt es weiter: "Along with the new career mode and lineup of new cars, the NASCAR Expansion also includes a new destination (...) as well as NASCAR-themed Rivals, Leagues and multiplayer hoppers, giving players the chance to experience NASCAR across the entirety of Forza Motorsport 6. And with the addition of brand new features such as rolling starts, a new Quick Stop mode, and a more complex drafting model, the NASCAR Expansion adds new levels of strategy and tension to pack racing in game."
