2015: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt als "Spiel des Jahres" und GTA 5 für "besondere Innovation" ausgezeichnet
Am Freitagabend wurden die Golden Joystick Awards zum 33. Mal verliehen . Der große Gewinner war diesmal The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt von CD Projekt RED. Kerbal Space Program wurde als bestes Indie-Game ausgezeichnet und Satoru Iwata erhielt posthum den Award für das Lebenswerk. Fallout 4 wurde übrigens als meist erwartetes Spiel prämiert und die Innovation des Jahres ist die Ego-Perspektive in Grand Theft Auto 5. Die Preisträger wurden nicht von einer Experten-Jury gekürt, sondern im Rahmen einer Online-Publikumswahl gewählt.
