ArmA 3: Beta-Phase startet nächste Woche
Am 25. Juni wird Arma 3 (ab 4,34€ bei 
kaufen) in die Beta-Phase übergehen. Im Vergleich zur Alpha-Fassung wird es zehn weitere Fahrzeuge, sieben Waffen, vier Showcase-Missionen (Combined Arms, Supports, Commanding & Night), zwei Multiplayer-Szenarien und vier Herausforderungen geben - sowie allerlei andere Verbesserungen der Militärsimulation.
Spieler, die Zugang zur Alpha-Version (Early Access) haben, bekommen automatisch das Beta-Update und später Zugriff auf die finale Version. Wie ursprünglich angekündigt, wird mit dem Beta-Start auch der Preis für das Spiel erhöht. Die Alpha-Version kostet momentan 24,99 Euro (Steam, BI-Studio). Die Beta-Fassung wird mit 34,99 Euro zu Buche schlagen.
"Set against the beautiful backdrop of Stratis (20 km²), the Arma 3 Beta turns its focus towards firepower and logistics. The Challenges game mode will also be making its first appearance, enabling players to practice their weapons handling and movement across a selection of firing drills. Plus, all of the content from the Arma 3 Alpha will be available, alongside the popular scenario editor and modding support. (...) The Arma 3 Alpha Lite, a free but limited variant of the Arma 3 Alpha, will be discontinued after June 25th."

Bringing some heavy firepower and additional transport options will allow for more diverse scenarios in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
