Laut Sony Online Entertainment ist das Spiel ein "Hardcore-Fantasy-MMOG" (Free-to-play-Modell) und soll durch einen hohen Schwierigkeitsgrad bestechen (Permadeath und keinerlei automatische Charakter-Heilung). Ab 16. Januar 2013 soll das Spiel dann in den offiziellen Spielbetrieb übergehen.
