Namco Bandai Games hat mit Tekken Revolution ein Free-to-play Beat'em-Up für PlayStation 3 angekündigt, das bereits in der nächsten Woche erscheinen soll. Am 11. Juni in Amerika und höchstwahrscheinlich am 12. Juni in Europa soll der Startschuss erfolgen.

Anfänglich sollen acht Tekken-Charaktere zur Auswahl bereit stehen, mit denen man gegen computergesteuerte Feinde oder menschliche Kontrahenten (Online Ranked Matches) antreten kann. Die Kämpfer sammeln in den Matches Erfahrung und erhalten Stufenaufstiege - damit lassen sich ihre Attribute wie Stärke, Ausdauer oder Durchschlagskraft verbessern. So soll es möglich sein, Charaktere zu erstellen, die viele Treffer einstecken (Tank) oder viel Schaden (entsprechend weniger Lebensenergie) austeilen können.
