Im Anschluss an die E3 werden die E3-Awards vergeben und eine Liste aller nominierten Spiele wurde nun offiziell veröffentlicht. Gleich acht Xbox-exklusive Titel wurden für solch einen Preis nominiert. Exklusive Spiele für die PlayStation 2 und den GameCube erhielten jeweils sieben Nominierungen.
