Sony: Personal-Rochade in der Führungsetage
Sony Corporation und Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) gaben heute bekannt, dass der stellvertretende SIE-Präsident Jim Ryan zum 1. April 2019 zum Präsident und CEO von SIE ernannt wird. Der derzeitige SIE-Präsident und CEO John (Tsuyoshi) Kodera wird sich als stellvertretender SIE-Präsident der Schaffung "innovativer Benutzererlebnisse" und der weiteren Verbesserung des Netzwerkbereichs widmen. Aufbauend auf seinen Erfahrungen mit dem PSN soll Kodera eine federführende Rolle bei der digitalen Transformation des Gesamtunternehmens übernehmen.
Gleichzeitig wird Jim Ryan auch die Rolle des "Representative Directors" und Präsidenten von Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. Japan übernehmen. John Kodera wird stellvertretender Direktor und Vizepräsident in diesem Bereich sein. Jim Ryan wird direkt an Kenichiro Yoshida, Präsident und CEO von Sony, berichten.

Furthermore, our business in this domain holds significant importance as our growth driver going forward. Based on extensive discussions with John, I have decided to change the management structure of SIE to ensure sustainable evolution of the PlayStation platform and further growth of the network area.
