Der Nachfolger zu Shadow of Chernobyl wird zeitgleich als Online-Version per Steam und als Retail-Version verfügbar sein.

Einen genauen Erscheinungstermin gibt es in der Pressemitteilung nicht, aber beide Seiten sind wie bei solchen Mitteilungen üblich, begeistert von dem Projekt. Die Seite im Steam-Shop ist bereits erstellt und kann mit einigen neuen Impressionen zu dem Nachfolger glänzen.
