Love the music! Who´s handling the sound in the game? Are you doing your own music? What kind of theme are you going for?

It is an original music composed by Bertrand Eluerd, a friend of ours. As you may have noticed, he is very influenced by Dany Elfman.

Describe as best you can what gamers can look forward to with Evil Twin. What sets it apart?

Evil Twin is an original game, which mixes frantic action gameplay (the Action side) and an inventive storyline ( the Adventure side), in a universe both dark and enchanting. Targeted at a large audience (with an emphasis on the 15-25 generation), the game will stand out of the crowd for its fantastic references, its unique graphical style and the careful polishing of its gameplay.

Some developers have had problems overlapping music and sound effects on the DC. How´s that going?

It has been a bit of a problem since the tools have changed a lot for each dev kit. However, we have eventually succeeded in bypassing the problem.

If the game is a huge hit, do you have ideas for a sequel yet? Maybe you´re not even thinking that far ahead yet.

There are definitely plans for a sequel! No concept has been definitely validated so far, so I can´t tell you more…

The game world seems very surreal. It´s interesting to see ideas like the cracks in the sets. Explain what you´re trying to achieve.

What kind of weapons does the character use? He has the sling shot, and will that be his primary tool for offense?

As Cyprien, yes. In 3rd p view, it is a lock system, with no control on the range of the shot (a bit like the Tomb Raider system). In 1st p. view, it is a ballistic system (which permits precision shots). The slingshot will have a series of upgrades like bouncing balls, multiple fire or a cross-aimer.

As Super Cyprien, you have a lot more fighting options: the fireball, the lightning bolt, the super charge, and the rodeo attack, not counting all the corresponding upgrades which will slightly modify the fighting gameplay.

Any puzzle elements in the game?

Yes, It is an important part of the game. You will have to find objects and bring them to the proper places/people. There are also some triggers/buttons puzzles.

Tell us about boss battles. Will they be implemented in the game, and how so?

Each of Cyprien´s buddies in the real life has turned into one end-of-level boss in the world of dreams. All bosses will have to be fought in several rounds, with different tactics for each round. The final fight against the Big Boss should last quite some time, with an enemy that changes shape and offensive style and that will require from you that you use all the skills and tricks that you have learned during the game.

Atmosphere is the key! Our goal is to mix the wonders of fairy tales with the darkest aspects of nightmares.

What in Evil Twin are you most proud of?

Nothing yet ! The game must ship first before we can say we are proud !! But I bet it will be the cool handling of the character and the rewarding gameplay (we are trying to provide at least a reward for every 15 minutes of gaming).
